Biography
Queensbury - Jeffrey Alan Daly, 36, of Queensbury passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2010 at Glens Falls Hospital.
Jeff was born on July 8, 1974 in Glens Falls, the son of John and Melvina (Legault) Daly.
He was a graduate of Queensbury High School, Class of 1993 and then graduated from Adirondack Community College in 1996.
Jeff was a faithful and devoted member of St. George Antiochain Christian Orthodox Church in South Glens Falls.
He was a long time and dedicated employee at Walmart in Queensbury.
Jeff was a loving and giving person and enjoyed knitting hats for cancer patients, crocheting blankets for his family and loved sharing his sense of humor with his large, extended family and friends. He was very close to his family and will truly be missed by all.
On May 9, 2009, he went on to marry the love of his life, Paula Webb at Our Lady of the Annunciation Church in Queensbury. They were made for each other and were true soul mates.
He was predeceased by his father, John Daly, his niece, Colleen Daly and his brother-in-law, Patrick Webb.
Survivors besides his mother Melvina and her longtime companion, Glenn Lunt of Queensbury and his beloved wife, Paula Webb of Queensbury, include his two brothers, Kevin Daly and his wife Lori of Middleburg, VA, and Mark Daly and his wife Lisa, of Bedford, TX; his four sisters, Jill Hamilton and her husband Jeb of Saratoga Springs, Jacquie Steinbach and her husband, Steven of Viera, FL, Kathi Daly of Queensbury and Lisa Colegrove and her husband Mike of Saginaw, TX. Also surviving him are his in-laws, Paul and Pam Webb of Glens Falls, and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am on Monday, August 2, 2010 at St. George Antiochian Christian Orthodox Church, 55 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY, with Reverend Father Terence Baz, D. Min, Pastor officiating.
Burial will follow in Pine View Cemetery, Quaker Road, Queeensbury.
Family and friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at the Regan and Denny Funeral Home, 53 Quaker Road, Queensbury.
