South Glens Falls:

June E. Emerson, 78, a resident of South Glens Falls passed away on Monday July 26, 2010 at Glens Falls Hospital following a long illness surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 6, 1931, in Warrensburg, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Thelma (Richards) Plumley.

June was a homemaker and was married for 60 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and camping with her sister in Crown Point. June was known to have a big heart; at family gatherings everyone enjoyed having her baked beans. Her hobbies included, reading, camping, traveling to Florida and dining out.

Besides her parents she is predeceased by her son, James Emerson, and two sons-in-law, John Canale, and Rocco Persuitti.

Survivors include her husband Ralph W. Emerson of South Glens Falls; two daughters, Fawn Persuitti and her companion Vince Crowley of Ft. Pierce, FL., Susan Nash and her husband Peter of South Glens Falls; three grandchildren, Kara Dudley and her husband Peter of South Glens Falls, Stacy Woodcock and her husband Isaiah of Glens Falls, Amber Stillman and her husband Andre of South Glens Falls; great grandchildren, Dylan, Peter, Kaesen, Braedon, Kennedy, Kaili and Lexis. She is also survived by one sister, Patricia Harden and her husband Ernest of FL; and two nephews, Rusty Harden of NJ and Scott Harden and his wife Vivian of NJ.

Funeral services are scheduled 6:00 pm on Thursday July 29, 2010 at the Regan and Denny Funeral Home, 94 Saratoga Ave. South Glens Falls, NY

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Southside Cemetery.

Relatives and friends are invited and may also call on Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
