Deborah L. (Dickinson) Haskell, 59, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Glens Falls Hospital after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Born on June 7, 1950 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Effie Mae (Murley) and John James Dickinson.

Deborah and Larry Haskell were married on September 7, 1974 at St. Michael's Church in South Glens Falls.

Deborah graduated in 1968 from South Glens Falls High School. She was licensed to sell insurance and was employed as a customer service representative for many years, most recently, at Suburban Propane of South Glens Falls. Deborah enjoyed gardening, baking, cleaning and caring for the elderly. She also loved spending time with her family.

Deborah was predeceased by her parents, her mother-in-law Marion Way, grandparents and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Survivors include: her husband, Larry Haskell, son Larry Haskell Jr.; daughters, Dana and Maegan; stepmother, Martha Dickinson; grandchild Nicole Hall; siblings: brother John Dickinson (Stella); sisters: Dale Dickinson (Kathy Usher), Wendy Talback (Leo), Heather Monroe (John), Julie Dresser (Bill), Jodie Brown (Kevin); sister-in-law, Claudia Haskell, brother-in-law, Ken Way (Kim), David Way (Pam), Joe Ann Stockdale (Rick), Wesley Way (JoLisa), John Way (Tina), along with several nieces, nephews and special friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 9 a.m. at St. Michael's Church in South Glens Falls. Burial will follow at the Moss Street Cemetery in Hudson Falls. Friends and family may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2010 at Regan and Denny Funeral Home, 94 Saratoga Avenue, South Glens Falls.
