Biography

Kathleen A. Magiera, 49, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady. The daughter of the late Charles and Lorraine Goodman, she was born in Albany, NY. Kathleen was a loving mother who enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her loving husband of over ten years, Benjamin Magiera. Kathleen is survived by her children, Nancy (Joel) Ward and Shane (Amber) Goodman; sister, Dawn Milner; brothers, Charles Goodman Jr., Kirk Goodman, and Raymond Goodman. She is also survived by two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Please know that Kathy's family are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope as each day goes by you are able to remember the good times spent with less heartache and pain. I worked with Kathy at Tough Traveler for many years and the memories that I have are something that I will never forget. She made the work day go by so very fast and with many giggles and laughs. I went to Bingo 1 time and that was with Kathy and Ben and I won $200 and they had to yell Bingo for me! The memories are all that are left, cherish them and it will keep her close to your heart.
