Shirley H. (Brown) Hatch 61 passed away on Tuesday March 9, 2010 at Glens Falls Hospital.
She was born on January 5, 1949 in Oneonta NY the daughter of the late Elmer W. and Marion A. (Mead) Brown.
Shirley was a graduate of Glens Falls High School class of 1967. She previously worked for Warren, Washington Mental Health, ARC, and Voices of the Heart. She was a compassionate soul and a gift to the people she work with because she knew both sides.
Shirley was very crafty she loved gardening, floral arranging, and her dog, cat and two birds. She was a collector of angels, dolls, and figurines. She also supported the sponsor children programs.
Her parents and her nephew Keith Lamora predecease her.
Her husband of 12 years Kenneth R. Hatch of Chestertown, her sons, Todd Palmer of Queensbury, Chad Palmer of Glens Falls, Adam Palmer and his wife Rachel of Queensbury survive Shirley. Her grandchildren, Autumn, Tyler and Emma Leigh; her sisters, Lois Lamora and her husband Garry of Queensbury and Corrine Raulins and her husband David of Gansevoort, along with nieces and nephews Garry Lamora and fiancée Zoe Vannier of Queensbury, Jonathan Lamora and fiancée Nicole Chapin of Fort Edward, Kristen Hamilton and husband Elisha of Queensbury, and Kelly Deeb of Queensbury also survive her.
A funeral service will be held on Friday March 12, 2010 at a time to be announced at Regan and Denny Funeral Home 53 Quaker Road Queensbury, with burial to follow at Pine View Cemetery.
Family and friends are invited and may call from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday March 11, 2010 at the funeral home.
Donations in Shirley's memory are suggested to a Mental Health Program of ones choice.

So sorry to hear about Shirley's death. I know that you all will miss her and that life was a struggle for her. She is finally in a peaceful place and around her mom and dad and other family members. Please know that I am thinking of you all at this time of your loss.

My prayers are with Shirleys family...I was so sad to hear of her death. Shirley was a sweet, sweet person. She was somone that had surely touched many hearts and lives.
