Queensbury -

Rose M. Oesau, 74, of Queensbury passed away Friday, February 5, 2010 at Glens Falls Hospital.
Rose was born October 15, 1935 in Argyle, the daughter of the late John and Gertrude McKittrick.
She married Carl Oesau in 1970.
Rose was a resident of Cronin Highrise before moving to Adirondack Manor, where she had many friends.
Rose especially liked going out for ice cream, one of her favorite things and going to "Hair Doctors" for a haircut followed by lunch at a nearby restaurant.
In addition to her parents, her husband and her beloved cat, Max, predeceased her.
Rose is survived by her sisters, her stepdaughter Nancy Smith and stepson, Robert Oesau of Stratford, Ct., and her dear friends, Joan Scott of Glens Falls and Linda Nichols of Wilton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday February 10, 2010 at 1:00 PM at St. Alphonsus Church, Broad Street, Queensbury.
No calling hours are scheduled.
Burial will be next to her beloved husband, Carl at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Veterans Cemetery, Schuylerville.
A special thanks to the nurses on 2 Tower of Glens Falls Hospital for the very special care they took of Rose and her friends at the Manor, especially, Kelly, Al and Lisa.
